These Terms of Service govern the use of SalonGo and its services. By accessing or using SalonGo, users agree to these terms.
1. Platform Overview
SalonGo is a platform that allows users to discover salons, book appointments, and make advance payments. SalonGo acts as a technology platform connecting customers and salon partners.
2. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Use the platform responsibly
- Avoid misuse or fraudulent activity
- Attend appointments on time
3. Booking Rules
- Users can book available slots shown on the platform
- Booking availability depends on salon capacity and timings
- Some services may require advance payment
4. Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
Every booking includes a 15-minute grace period immediately after booking, with a full refund and free rescheduling available during that window. Beyond the grace period, the following rules apply. Full details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Cancellation
- More than 4 hours before appointment: 100% refund
- Between 2–4 hours before appointment: 50% refund
- Less than 2 hours before appointment: Cancellation not allowed, no refund
- No-show appointments: No refund
Reschedule
- Allowed free of charge more than 2 hours before the appointment, subject to slot availability
- Not allowed within 2 hours of the appointment
Edge Slot Bookings
- A booking made for the earliest available slot (exactly 2 hours away) is an "Edge Slot" and cannot be cancelled or rescheduled after confirmation
5. OTP Check-in
SalonGo may use OTP verification for appointment check-in and fraud prevention. Users must provide valid OTP at the salon during arrival.
6. Payments
- Advance payments are processed securely through payment gateways
- Remaining payment may be collected directly at the salon
- Platform fees, if applicable, will be shown transparently before payment
7. Salon Responsibility
Salon partners are responsible for:
- Service quality
- Hygiene standards
- Timely appointment handling
- Correct pricing and service information
SalonGo is not directly responsible for salon-side service quality issues.
8. Platform Rights
SalonGo reserves the right to:
- Suspend accounts involved in misuse
- Remove fraudulent salons or users
- Modify platform features or policies
- Refuse service in cases of policy violation
9. Limitation of Liability
SalonGo is not liable for:
- Salon-side disputes
- Delays caused by external factors
- Internet or technical interruptions
- Indirect damages resulting from service usage
10. Intellectual Property
All platform branding, logos, designs, and content related to SalonGo remain the property of SalonGo unless otherwise stated.
11. Changes to Terms
SalonGo may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
